is due to an indigenous chief who lived in the area.<\/span> <span title=\"\">However, it is also said that there was a river that had that name before the chief.<\/span> <span title=\"\">Others do a study of the Mapuche or Araucanian words, where Lil, which could be a deformation of Dil, is equivalent to &#8220;rock&#8221; or &#8220;rock&#8221;.<\/span> <span class=\"\" title=\"\">As for Tan it is said that it derives from Thau, which means nothing less than &#8220;beating.&#8221;<\/span> <span class=\"\" title=\"\">According to these analysts Tandil would mean &#8220;beating stone&#8221; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221;][vc_column_text]La Piedra Movediza was granite with a weight of 300 tons and had the particularity of keeping in balance at the edge of the hill until its final fall. It was inaugurated on April 4, 1923. It is named that way because of the resemblance to the Goldea de Judea. To cross the Via Crucis it is necessary to climb 96 steps, there are a total of 17 statues made of stone.
